Miniature Horse Show testing and Qualification
Some of the major differences between USEF and miniature horse shows include:
- DNA testing -
Many miniature horse shows registries do not require DNA parentage
testing.
- Drug testing
- Some Miniature Horse Shows do not test for the use of performance
enhancing drugs.
- Height Measuring practices - Virtually all horse breeds that measure height at the top of the withers. However, some miniature horse shows measure the height at the last hair on the mane.
